1000 Wings, a charitable initiative by No., hosted its second event,
“Christmas Charity Night,” on November 20, 2025, at Anniversaire Omotesando.
The evening brought together inspiring individuals from diverse fields,
each deeply engaged in social contribution.
Through a special talk session, guests shared a meaningful and heartfelt experience,
centered around the theme of “Fashion × HAPPY TO BE ME × Social Impact.”

Two leading voices in fashion—Chizuru Mukai, editor and former Editor-in-Chief of WWD Japan,
and Mitsuko Watanabe, fashion journalist and former Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Japan—shared an in-depth conversation on the power of fashion we experience every day, exploring how it shapes self-confidence and our connection to society.
Their discussion delved into themes such as women’s careers, sustainability, and the courage to move forward—offering a meaningful reflection on the relationship between fashion and the way we live.

Mukai Chizuru | Editor
After working at Edwin and Nihon Sen’i Shimbun, she joined INFAS Publications in 2000.
As a journalist, she covered domestic and international designer brands.
In 2015, she was appointed Editor-in-Chief of WWD JAPAN, and in 2020, Executive Officer and Sustainability Director overseeing editorial.
Following her independent career in 2024, she continues to serve as Sustainability Director of WWD JAPAN.
Through lectures and advisory roles for government bodies, she contributes to the sustainability shift within the fashion industry.
In 2024, she founded CRANE & LOTUS.
Watanabe Mitsuko | Fashion journalist and consultant
She began her editorial career at Hanatsubaki, Shiseido’s corporate culture magazine,
before working with two international fashion publications.
In 2000, she joined the editorial team of VOGUE JAPAN.
From 2008 to 2021, she served as Editor-in-Chief for 13 years.
In 2022, she went independent.
Since 2024, she has served as Fashion Features Director-at-Large for 10 Magazine Japan.
She is also a board member of 1000 Wings.

A new charity brooch was unveiled at the event.
“1000” is said to represent a number where intention continues endlessly—
a symbol of infinite possibility and the power to take flight toward a new self.
One person’s courage inspires another,
growing into a thousand wings that gently spread kindness across the world.
This brooch is the first of those wings—a quiet beginning.
From the chest, it carries a sense of hope,
expressing the strength to live beautifully and true to oneself.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to raise a total of ¥285,580 in donations.
These funds will be equally distributed, with ¥142,790 each donated to the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates and the Panzi Foundation.
