1000 wings, a charity project born from No., held its second event, "Christmas Charity Night," at Anniversaire Omotesando on November 20, 2025.
The venue was attended by people active in a variety of fields who are highly interested in social contribution activities. In the special talk session, everyone enjoyed a heartwarming time together, with the theme of "Fashion x HAPPY TO BE ME x Social Contribution."

The two women (Mukai Chizuru, editor and former editor-in-chief of WWD Japan, and Watanabe Mitsuko, fashion journalist and former editor-in-chief of VOGUE JAPAN), who have worked as fashion professionals for many years, had an in-depth discussion about the power of fashion, which we enjoy casually every day, including self-esteem and connections to society, and it was an opportunity to explore the relationship between lifestyles and fashion, including topics such as "women's careers," "sustainability," and "the courage to push forward."

Mukai Chizuru | Editor
After working for Edwin and the Japan Textile Newspaper Company, she joined INFAS Publications in 2000. As a reporter, she was mainly responsible for reporting on domestic and international designer brands. In 2015, she became editor-in-chief of WWD JAPAN, and in 2020, she became an executive officer, chief editor and sustainability director. After going independent in 2024, she will continue to serve as sustainability director of WWD JAPAN. She is committed to the shift towards sustainability in the fashion industry through lectures and serving on expert committees for government ministries. She founded CRANE & LOTUS in 2024.
Watanabe Mitsuko | Fashion journalist and consultant
She started her editing career at Shiseido's corporate culture magazine, Hanatsubaki, and after working for two international fashion magazines, she joined the editorial department of Vogue Japan in 2000. She served as editor-in-chief for 13 years from 2008 to 2021. She became independent in 2022. From 2024, she will serve as Fashion Features Director at Large for 10 Magazine Japan. She is a member of the 1000 wings board of directors.

Thank you very much for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend the 1000 Wings Christmas Charity Night the other day. This is still a small initiative that has just been launched, but we hope to continue to nurture it together with everyone, especially our board members.
Thanks to your support, we were able to collect 285,580 yen in donations on the day, of which 142,790 yen will be donated to each of the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates World Summit Panji Foundation.
